One flower, carried through everything: the white calla lily. In the bride's bouquet with its lace ribbon, on the lapel of the groom waiting on the steps of Saint Andrew's, in the ceremony arrangements inside the church beside tall candles on marble.

At the reception under the white marquee, the couple's table was dressed in generous garlands of lisianthus and roses, the round tables took circular centerpieces with baby's breath, and the night closed with a cake trimmed in the same white blooms.
