Wedding flowers, season by season

The most common question at a first appointment is not "how much does it cost" but "can I have this flower?". The answer almost always depends on the one factor nobody controls: the season.

We work only with fresh, seasonal flowers. It is not ideology, it is practice: a stem cut at its moment holds from the morning church installation to the last glass of the reception, and photographs in its true colour.

What we suggest, season by season

May to July. Peony season. At Nasos and Giota's wedding in Panagopoula, a bouquet of peonies became the thread of the whole day. Garden roses, astilbe and lisianthus bloom alongside.

High summer. Calla lilies carry the heat with dignity. At Panagiotis and Paraskevi's wedding at Saint Andrew's, a single flower, the white calla, held the entire design from bouquet to cake.

September to November. Hydrangeas at their best, with dahlias and pampas. In Ayia Napa, in October, white and pale-blue hydrangeas dressed the arches above the sea.

December to February. Red roses, berries, fir and mistletoe. Giannis and Nikoleta's Christmas wedding was built on exactly these.

Why it matters for the budget too

An arrangement of hydrangeas in October does not cost what one of peonies costs in May, and neither costs what the same flowers cost out of season. When the palette is designed around your date, the same amount buys more flower and a better picture.
